deepening roots, reaching toward light

deepening roots, reaching toward light is a self-choreographed solo which premiered at the Cleveland Dance Festival in 2021. This solo recognizes the importance of reflection and also the ability to refract in a new direction. This solo challenged me as a performer physically while also trying to be present in my own identity .

Embodied Thoughts is a work created for an installation at Drs. Nicholas and Dorothy Cummings Center for the History of
Psychology as part of Intersections: Archives Inspiring Art campaign. This solo was inspired by an archive within the museum to promote the connections between psychology and art. This work was projected in the space as an installation.
